¿Qué harás?
Naxos has an important historical and cultural imprint during the ages, especially during the Byzantine Empire. A strong evidence are the religious temples that were built on 6th, 11th and 13th century AD, that the hikers will have the chance to visit during this 7 km route starting from Halki, the old administrative and commercial center of Naxos with buildings that reflect the wealth of the time, continuing to Moni village with its traditional architecture of narrow paths and stone-built houses and finishing to Kaloxilos, a beautiful village full of olives, oak and plain trees known for its beautiful houses with their rare flowers in their yards.
The route is of medium difficulty, with a duration of 2,5 to 3 hours and an elevation between +300m/ -300m.
